what is simulation and implementation? when you do a project what are they for?

In Simulation you use computers or simple models of what you're trying to create or study. for example MATLAB software is a very powerful simulation tool. you can create a full communications system or a car suspension system by computer, studying and experimenting it, without a real car or system.
when you are trying to create a real system the process is called implementing. imagine you've designed a program to do something on a microcontroller. by simulation you know what that program can do without even working with it. but in real world you implement the system you've simulated by buying a microcontroller and programing it. that's the difference.
simulation is almost cost and risk free for studying products. because it's all in computer. when you get the result you're expecting from simulation you start implementing your product on a real system.

I think in Simulation u do not need original components u make a circuit in any software and run it.
But in Implementatin u naturally make a circuit by real components.

Simulation is trying the idea in isolation or virtually. example: lab test, computer simulation.

Implementation is applying the idea on the target or in reality. example: give medicines to patients, process a product, flight a plane.

The best!!! Thank you. I am so clear from what you explained. "Helped me" pressed!

and Thank you for others reply too.

simulation nothing but verification. really it created new revolution in educational institutes. Mat lab is one o them

simulating a program means u r going near to practical experiance. Understanding t design of circuits iz possible...

Simulation is nothing but verification of ur model(circuit)..
based on the results u will implement

simulation is not just in computers and circuits. it is used in all engineering fields.

Simulation is a verification of results for an algorithm or circuits that we developed. Implementation is making the circuits in real PCB with real components or dumping the algorithm in a processors.
