need algorithms for SRAM testing

hello friends,
my current project is to work on testing SRAM library cells and i am using High Level Synthesis (C based synthesis and tool used is CatapultC from mentor.)
I have to write an algorithm in C to integrate and test memory(SRAM) cells.
Friends any ideas about how to write an algorithm in C to test memories.
Could you please reply with example algorithms for any similar case which work at hardware level.

Hi,

Make sure about the control signals and you generate the known test patterns like 1 to N, and 1010 patterns and port and check.
