For checking, why not use a testpoint instead?

Yes, in full datasheets there is a specification for jumper components, e. g.:Are you shure it's 0 ohm?
Isn't it 0.1 ohm or 0.2...?
The jumper has a maximum resistance Rmax = 50 mΩ and a rated current IR = 2 A.
