Is Diva able to extract parasitic information for post layout simulation?
Is Diva-RCX another product or it is a feature in Diva?
My Diva run do not extract parasitics even drain/source capacitances! How can I fix it?

Re: DIVA

DIVA RCX (R-C-eXtraction) is a module of DIVA that is, depending on the setup provided, able to extract parasitic R's and C's. Check which switches are availabe when you open the RCX menu.

DIVA

How I can set it up to do the RC extraction?

Re: DIVA

You need to write a rule file that includes all the parasitics information required. I'm not an expert when it comes to writing these rule files, but you should be able to find or request documentation from Cadence.

are you using a pdk ?
if u are using a pdk, there should be divaDRC.rul , divaLVS.rul and divaEXT.rul in the pdk. you can use these files for your extraction, just like the assura.

Yes I am using 90nm GPDK, and those files exists. Whan I do the extraction, it does not contain parasitics. Even worse it give very simple output for mosfets!! Also Assura gives error in RCX! it has problem with "setTempDir".

Is Diva outputs valid for 90nm? Or I have to switch to Assura?
