Hello,

I have a problem, I need MUX that has 16inputs and 1output. In my local shop there is only 1of8 MUX, so how to make from two 1of8 one 1of16 MUX.

If it's not a problem, maybe I will need expend outputs also, so example of demux with 1input and 8outputs converted to demux with 1input to 16outputs would be super.

Thank you.

EDIT:

I corrected my mistake, it's 1of8 MUX, not 1of4 like I wrote it before.

What kind of mux you need?
Analog or digital?
What kind of chip does your local shop have?

Hi,
do you have an enable pins on our mux?

See schematic.

I have skipped the inputs in the drawing.

Thank you for helping.

At the moment I have only one ls151 so I can't try it.
I understand how this circuit works I just don't understand why didn't I get that idea (for example to look at the logic diagram of the MUX in the datasheet). :|

Thanks again.
