can anyone please tell me abt how to connect MATLAB to RS232?
Also how to connect RS232 TO ANY KIND OF HARDWARE?
Reply me as soon as possible
because its very urgent

MATLAB has built in functions for Serial Port. Go to MATLAB help and see the exact syntax of these functions.
 
its has serial port acces , you can directly control
 

use matlab function fopen(serial) its very usefull command
