RS232C to USB interface

I have a HP laptop. It doesn't have a serial port to it but has USB ports.
I want to build a USB to RS232 converter for it.

Plz sugeest me a way to do this?

I guess you don't want to buy an off-the-shelf converter and you plan to build one ..

There are planty of options to choose from ..

Here is one based on the CP210(X) USB-to-UART bridge:

The simplest configuration uses the following pins:
USB side - D+, D-, GND and 5V
RS-232 side - TxD, RxD and GND
