yes,it's a common source amplifier.it's also a inverter.you must understand that inverter is also a amplifer,it's classB amplifier.note:if v2 and in tied together it is a inverter.

they may be bandwidth, gain and bias in gain boosting.
because of negative gain, this amplifier was named inverter too.

i think, in digital signal mode it works as an inverter (input 0 => output 1; input 1 => output 0). if u want the same circuit in analog signal mode operation, it will be a common source amplifier. In digital mode u no need to worry otherthan speed (load capacitance), but in analog mode operation u should take care of somany things as explained gain, ugb etc...
Its the senario u r using this ckt for digital or analog application. Certnly its output bufer stage bcoz of high sizes and CS config. Csink and source txs are having high Gm s if u see it .
