Hi , I need to design a 30ns 25Amp current pulse generator to drive a laser diode , the frequency is about 160 Hz , any idea how to design? Thank you!

To generate ≈30ns pulse you can use XOR gate with some kind of delay line (6 inverters) ..
As the 74AC family have a 4.8ns propegation delay, that should provide roughly 29ns pulses. If you need wider, use more inverters (even number) ..
Code:
                +----+     +----+   +----+     +----+   +----+     +----+   +---+
80Hz  o-----*---| -1 |o---o| -1 |---| -1 |o---o| -1 |---| -1 |o---o| -1 |---
            |   +----+     +----+   +----+     +----+   +----+     +----+   | ^ |--->
            +---------------------------------------------------------------
                                                                            +---+
Pulses are generated at each transistion, so for 160 pulses per second you need 80Hz (50%) square wave ..

To drive a Leser Diode, these pulses have to be amplified ..
Attached is an example of pulse amplifier ..

Thank you for your circuit. Do you know also any low voltage soloutions?
