Hi

I use 2 Line LCD and HD44780U as LCD controller. If value two writes to control register that is return home then what happens second Line of LCD.I have no hardware I want to write a simulation model for LCD.

When you send a home command to lcd the cursor will point the first character of first line. Nothing will happened to the data displayed on lcd

It working . It need some scripting .

dilraj did you test it in real hardware.

U can Simulate the LCD using the Proteus Software . In that u can simulate your code .,
