i designed a hairpin filter with center frequency of 2.14 GHZ and bandwidth 60 MHZ
the circuit simulation gave the correct results making the momentum simulation the response was shifted upwards to 2.24 GHZ i don't know why

how can i solve this problem ??

ADS momentum problem

change the mesh density

Re: ADS momentum problem

Generally speaking, you will very rarely get a direct translation of a result in Circuit simulation in an EM simulation.
You might have to tweak the EM thing a little bit, like reducing, length, width to get it at the exact point you need..

ADS momentum problem

always the circuit models ,will give a shift , coz it is approximate models , but momentum more accurate ,which include the coupling between lines and so on

so u need to optimize the lines in momentum

khouly

Re: ADS momentum problem

Also, like psmon suggested, you could try playing with the mesh density to see if it makes a difference..

Re: ADS momentum problem

Dear all i want to thank everyone answered you were really helpful :D
the solution was combination from replanning the mesh and post optimization
