Dear all

I would like to simulate one huge ( analog+digital) circuit,
but it will take many time to do that in HSPICE.
I have tried Hsim, but it still take many time.
Does any one has the good idea or good tool to do the job?
How do you to simuilate when you meet a huge circuit and integrate all of sub-blocks?

Set option for different subciruit: more accuracy for analog and less accuracy for digial

spectreVerilog is a good choice

Hspice option setting helps this Problem.

if you have over 10Million TRs, you should other simulation tool like SmartSpice or HSim/NanoSim

Maybe SmartSpice can simulate circuits had over 20 Million TRs. (I'm not sure)

Hsim/NanoSim is very proper solution for Very large circuit like Memory or Display circuit.

But I'm not sure about accuracy.

you can set "analog" and "speed" options in hsim. It can help you increase the speed.

smartspice is much faster for such circuit than hspice. i tried before

Using hsim + verilog + verilog-A

It's also faster with Ultrasim simulator in Spectre. It's less accurate but much faster.

you can do it with hsim or icms

pls give the size of the design
if u r doing block level simulations then ADMS might be good but at full chip if ur analog content is very high then ADMS sytruggles

Give a try with Ultrasim... with proper settings for speed and accuracy

It is also take time in verilogsim.
