USB driven PIC programmer

Today I was at a local elec parts and saw an ATMEL-PIC USB driven (it takes +b from the USB port) programmer. The programmer is made in Argentina and costs about 150 US$.

Have any of you an idea where to find something like that to be home-built?

do you know the list of supported device? I think the list was not complete because it only show 18 series device only.

If you want you can try gtp usb programmer the lite is free just try to search for it here.

Or you can build DIY KIT 128.

I have the schematic, source code and software for it.

google around I did see a multichip programmer for atmel, PIC and others,
Oh I remember it was called lancos.
Google around and you ll find it. nice small programmer.
 

here is a 3d view of gtp-usb. I have the diagram but i have not build this yet.
