In the circuit theory voltage between two terminals-points- is the amount of energy needed to move a unit charge from one of them to the other.

Re: voltage

voltage is the energy to move a charge in an electric field...
it is the voltage which tends the electrons to flow from one point to another
rather(from high potential to low potential) eventually producing the current.....!!!!

Re: voltage

Voltage is a kind of potential energy for charged particles, which can be converted to the kinetic energy of the charged particles. Voltage can contiribute to drift velocity, but, cannot contribute to diffusion veclocity occurring as a result of diffusion phenomenon.

voltage

voltage is nothing but potential difference between two terminals likewise temperature difference or pressure difference. as heat flow from higher temp to lower temp..and water flow from higher pressure to lower pressure..similar;ly charge from higher potential to lower potential...
