Just a query.

If we have a lines in x spatial direction repeating with a particular frequency, say fx. If we have different lines now in the y direction repeating with varying frequency and we apply a spatial bandpass filter in the y direction.

Is the end result: lines in the x direction with those y-lines that are being passed by the bandpass filter assuming an ideal bandpass filter?

THanks

Thanks,

So what if I modulate the intensity of some specific x lines with varying intensity with certain y frequencies in y direction. And if I filter them, only those x lines with the selected y frequencies would be transmitted?

THanks once again
