Hi,

You probably mean SwitcherCAD from Linear Technology, the software is also known as LTSpice:

http://www.linear.com/company/software.jsp

Freely downloadable, fully functional , registration is only an option for update releases.

There is a very helpful yahoo mail group on the software in case the Help does not 'help' : **broken link removed** (also includes a direct download link)
