Hello,

in another thread (UWB-Antennas Simulation) I got informations about FDTD method for antennas simulation special for uwb antennas for study the parameters in "time domain".
Many thanks for all replies.

Now next quastions:
Should I write for FDTD method program codes?
If yes: in which program language? C++, C, Java, Mathlab?
How can I start to learn this method?
Ist it possible to download it anywhere in internet?
Is there any helpful and good book about FDTD special about antennas simulation?

I would be very thankful for any information.

the book "Elektromagnetic Simulation using the FDTD Method" is very helpful. You can write our own simulation program.

There are many softwares for antennas design analysis using FDTD method; for example : XFDTD, IMST Empire, Semcad, etc. But they are expensive :(

Maybe you can try FEKO Lite, a good free program with some restrictions...I heard that FEKO can simulate in time domain, but not with FDTD method.

You can learn 'bout FDTD method from Mr. GooGle ...
