What if (any) antivirus protection is required for WinServer2000? This computer is not used for internet/e-mails and its only purpose is to be a server..
Thanks.

Use Macafee anti-virus. It works smoothly on winserver2000.

McAfee once installed can work with server but updates from McAfee's site can not.
Any other option???

Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition has both Server and Client installations. I have not used it but have seen it working very smoothly on Winserver2000.

AOL AVS is not compatible with SERVER2000.
Any other (cheap) suggestions?

NOD32 (trial version) should work correctly with a computer running WIN-SERVER-2000 ..

You can download it from:
**broken link removed**

Although it is not recommended by ESET, you can try to run NOD32 for workstations on SERVER-2000 (very small network environment) ..

After all, you have 30-days for tests ..
