Does anyone know of any websites where I can find the BAND MODEL aproach for the explanation of the operation of a zener diode??

I suppose you are talking about bands coded for the zener type on its package, right?

For the 1Nxxxx series, the band code just likes the resistor one, for example:

1N752 = purple-green-red
1N5072 = green-black-purple-red

Nop, I'm talking about ENERGY BAND MODEL (valence band, conduction band, etc)

i actually havent seen any band thery for zeener diode or even say diode it is avialiable for pn junction why dont you expalain pn junction in terms of valance band theory then explain about the working of zeener diode........
