what are the steps to be taken when doing so?
what's the difference between them?

89s51 projects

Codes are the same .. the main difference is that you can program the "S" verison through ISP (in application) or using very simple programmers, while the "C" version still needs "full" parallel programmer ..

difference between 89s51 and 89c51

my few pieces of "S" version sometimes forget the flashed program. I stopped use it, but I cannot say that is general problem or only my few pieces. Atmel technicians did not help me.

I don't have any problem with "S" version's flash.

AT89S51 has :
• Watchdog Timer
• Dual Data Pointer

watchdog 89c51

89s51 has more new feature than 89c51
such as
- ISP programming ( In system programming)
- Watch dog timer
therefore , its price is cheaper than 89c51

89s51 vs 89c51

Dual Data Pointer = 2 data pointers

what is the difference between 89c51 and 89s51

actualy the 89c51 has 20 pin versions like 89c1051,89c2051 and 89c4051
that is good for little projects

89s51 and 89c51

s 51 is more cheaper than c 51 .But h/w suport and if you want to use the application for longtime better use c 51
