Ooops, as far as I know, it isn't legal anywhere (international law).
Also, from what I know about the system, in order to jam a cell phone, you would need to completly tie up all the channels on all the cell towers within your jamming range. If you jam a frequency or channel, the system will just keep trying other channels until it can get through.
I totally agree with the idea though. If I could, I'd carry one with me at all times. Especially for those people who use the hands-free head pieces and look at you when they are talking to someone else on the phone.
In our country the only law concerning theese facts is that you are not allowed to transmit a signal more powwerfull than xx mW in specific bands without authorisation. Nowhere is written something about interference with other transmitters.
Have you ever considerd what happens if someone wants to call 112 or 911 emergency services.
It can kill somebody !
Equipment as this is not reasonable and is higly prosecuted in most countries.
I do not see the point for anybody would consider building something like this.
multanova51,
Is the emergency number 112 in UK?
Interesting.
We have two different numbers, 112 to call police and 119 for fire and ambulance,
in Korea.
What is directory assistance in UK? I understand it is 411 in USA and
114 in Korea.
Regards,

Dear jammers........
I think Jamming is useful in some cases as in meeting rooms cuz it will be noisy if many mobiles rings in it ......
also in college school special places which needs to be quiete.
The jamming idea is to send a high power signal in the range of the mobile phone frequencies "ultra wide band frequency" so it will corupt all data in this range.
these jammers also are used in the electro magnetic Bomb used in wars to stop communication and broad casting in a whole town or country ..........WOW.
so take care of it.
Regards
