proteus rs232

Hi,

Anyone can tell me how to use the Proteus Simulation Software to simulate the RS232. What Instrument i can use to simulate it? and Where can i get the Instrument Tool? May i know Proteus itself got the Hyperterminal?

I try to use the VTERM tool (get from Proteus samples itself) to simulate but can't simulate the proper display! :|

Try to see with osciloscope tool, what happening on signal lines, and do uC programm is simulating at all.

max232 proteus

Hi,

I connect the osciloscope on uC TXD P3.1, we can get the Transmit signal result (just testing for trasnsmit data). But the VTERM will show different word, i think we need to set it to ASCII but how?

simulation of rs232

Assalamo Allykum !

once I have the same problem, at that time my MAX232 was burn and it was not working properly. When I replcae the MAX232 the it started the working properly.

Check the MAX232.

In this situation when I send any data then on AT89C51 I get the wrong the data but after replacing the MAX232 the problem was solved.

rs232 max232 proteus not work

hI,

I already try to remove the currrent MAX232 then replace the new MAX232 but still the same result. Please can you help me to check my circuit? Attachment below is my simulation circuit.

proteus max232

u can use virtual terminal of proteus to simulate the serial communication BUT CHECK BAUD RATE OF virtual terminal
if u want to communicarte through physical comm port then use "COMPIM"
