can we program PIC24 using assembly in the MPLAB?

Also , what is the different between PICC and HIGT TECH C?

Re: PIC24

The answer for the first question is YES. Actually, you use ASM30 which comes with MPLAB.

I don't use PICC and Hi-Tech C, sorry mate!

Re: PIC24

Salam,

PICC has almost every thing you may need as a Libraries which make it very easy to write a working code in a few lines, you even don't have to know the register names of the PIC.

HiTech is a powerfull compiler but you have to write every thing manually.

So if you want to learn embedded programming use HiTech
If you want to make a project quickly Use PICC
