hey

plz I would like 2 ask u something important and urgent plz

I just wonna ask which of these video lectures r most compatible with my course of electromagnetics

course name : fundementals of electromagnetics

my book is : Field and wave electromagnetics for "david k.cheng"

knowing that I take electromagnetics class 4 the first time

and I wonna study this course early this summer be4 we take it next year and

knowing that I am upgraded to the third year

so plz ur help is so much appreciated

From my personal experience, I think the first link is probably the closest to your subject, I used the same textbook for my course and I've done some of the topics mentioned in that first video course. So u might wanna go with:

hi , 10x 4 ur help , but how about the others ?

cuz I have found now that the first link donot have any video lectures

, well how about the others ?

do they at least cover 50 or 75% of the course ?

do I start watching them with reading the book (especially the 3rd one)

thanks again and I hope u can help me with that also with more details

Added after 3 minutes:

and yeah , again , if u had taken the course with this book

did u solve most of the books problems?

in another words do u have a solution manual 4 "field and wave electromagnetics" ?

If so , could u scan it and upload it and in return I can give u points or if u like I have a rapidshare account , I can give u premuim links anytime u want

When I did my course, we covered chapter 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 from the textbook.

These were generally the topics covered:
Vector analysis, static electric field, static magnetic field, Maxwell's equations, EM waves in simple media, transmission lines and impedance matching, electrostatic fields, dielectric properties, insulators and conductors, Poisson's and Laplace's equations, Hall effect, losses in magnetic circuits, the Skin effect.

If you wanna self study, I suggest you start reading the first few chapters, if you have covered the maths involved in your maths courses, it won't be too much of a trouble. If you need more help on a certain topic, try and search other universities websites, there are many that put up lecture notes and tutorials.

Usually the focus of this type of course is Transmission Lines, how to use the Smith chart, matching impedence, these topics are covered in chapter 9.

About the solution manual, I really don't have it, I used the tutorials given by the lecturer and past papers to practice for this course.

Oh well, I hope this answers your question, if you have any other question, please feel free to ask.

Cheers
