hi,

im using assura RCX to do layout extraction, i wonder what the "MinC" in the filtering tab means? and how can i set the value of MinC and the value of the %? and what does the value of % mean?

thanks
newbie

anybody help me?

thanks a lot!

MinC is the minimum capcitance to be extracted. This helps you reduce the number of generated caps ( and hence simulation time ). The minimum value will depend on your application and the frequency band that interests you

hi elbadry,

then what about the value to be set in the textbox beside MinC which seems to be some kind of % value?

thanks

I'm sure this is explained in the manual. Have you looked at it ?

anyway, i cannot find the manual, maxwellequ, can u help find the manual for rcx?

thanks a lot

the percent value just sets how much the total capacitance will be set as decoupling caps, which will increase the sim speed
