is there any basic complier use icd2 without mplab?
if yes please what is it ? and if it use the same icd2 or another if another please what is the schematic of it
thanks

I think icd2 protocol is proprietary (from microchip) and so only mplab is allowed to use it...
even if someone reverse engeeners it, he coudnt sell it as a software...

I think MPLAB is necessary, because ICD2 works on protocol of it!!!
