Hello:
I'm doing a BT board design consisting basically in a uP and a BT module. What i need now is to control the temperature in the board so it can switch off module functions when the temperature reaches critic points.

I have never done temperature control designs. So i'm searching for clues about firms that provides those circuits, common designs, or if u only need a simple chip to do the whole temperature work.

I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this kind of question, so move it if u think otherwise. Thanks.

Re: Temperature control

One easy way of reading temperature is with the DS18B20, high-precision 1-wire digital thermometer ..
The DS18B20 is a digital thermometer featuring ±0.5°C accuracy over a -10°C to +85°C range. Data is read out over a 1-Wire® serial bus in 2's complement format with 9 to 12 bits of resolution (user-programmable).

Reading temperature is not the same as temperature control .. Have you thought of this part of a temperature control system?

Regards,
IanP

Anyway, thank you very much for your help. I clicked on the "helped me" button.
