no problem to install ic5141 on RHEL AS 3, but when trying AS 4, there are some error message shown up (i just directly ran seup.sh, and the message disappear very quik, i don even had a chance to see it) anyone could give some clue or idea to install it?

don't double-click SETUP.SH, try to run it from the terminal. This will give u time to read the error.

but how to run setup.sh in a terminal, just type it and return?

change to the directory where the setup.sh script is located first.
So if your setup.sh script is in /usr/cds/ic/setup.sh
you can either just type in the full path like: /usr/cds/ic/setup.sh and run the script. Or you can do:
cd /usr/cds/ic
and run setup.sh like: ./setup.sh
