verilog editor solaris

The question is:

What's the best text editor for Solaris for Verilog coding?
 

verilog compiling using emacs

GVIM/NEDIT is recommended.

EMACS with verilog mode is a good choice.

Any text editor should be good enough, all you want to know are the functionalities of the text editor. I prefer emacs.

We use ... emac and gvim .
Sometime edit file in neditor ..from debussy..
 

Hi, is it possible to compile the verilog code using emacs ? what i mean is, would it be possible for emacs to invoke the simulator to compile the code ?

i know its possible with C, so, just wondering.
