unable to open .sch file

I got one .sch file for servicing purpose from one sales person. But he don't know the name of the software created it. Help me to solve the problem.

unable to open .sch file

Do you know what schematic capture software you file was created with? The extension *.sch is used by many schematic capture programs (Protel 99, OrCAD, ExpressPCB and, probably, others too). My OrCAD 9.2 and ExpressPCB could not recognize your file.

Re: unable to open .sch file

I tried n protel.
I think someone should try on pcad or any other software.

Re: unable to open .sch file

Well try opening in wordpad or notepad, some of schematic specifies the package used.
Accordingly you can download the particular pacage & open.

Good luck

Re: unable to open .sch file

No success to open it in the P-CAD 2004 schematic viewer.
No EAGLE schematic file

Re: unable to open .sch file

i will now get pads logic demo. Then let u know about the result. Hoping that this will solve my problem.

Re: unable to open .sch file

Has anyone tried the Cadence schematic entry tool, it's called Concept HDL? That's a fairly standard schematic capture tool for many companies.

Re: unable to open .sch file

I hv opened the .sch file as suggested by purko by PADS logic.
Thanks 4 the same.
