I want to add a new ccompont into ADS,for example ATF34143,how can i make a sucess to do it?Can you help me in detail?
Thank you in advance

How to add the component into @DS lib?

Learnig an engineering software, the most useful way is to learn its help document. For examples, if you want to add the component into the library, you can go to the help and find "making a new component" or "new library" keywords in the search tab. Good Luck.

You can get the model from.

It is a zap file. You can use ADS import to import the zap file. Then the transistor will be a sub-curcuit and it iis ready to use.

Hi,

Depends on the file format of your ATF34143 file.
Tell us more.

Hi! My name's Marco and I work on LNA design for the Sardinia RadioTelescope..

I've try to solve the problem...

In the general library there is a nonlinear model for ATF34143, but there is not layout.
If you look the AVAGO technologies web page you can download the datasheet of ATF34143 and you can see that the package is the SOT343.
Then in order to add the appropriate layout at this transistor you need in first to generate a new shcematic and to put in the design parameters windows the settings so I show in the first image (package1)...
NB you must type the SOT343 in the proper space...
THEN you must create a new symbol for the transistor in package..see figure 2..

Now if you create a new schematic and place the new symbol you can easily see as the layout of package SOT343 can be correctly created!
(package3)

then it is possible to use the ATF34143 in order to design LNA...

The images are in the following post :p

Regards

Marco
