Looking for resources on constructing PIC programmer

Hi Everybody,

I want to construct a PIC programmer.
To program PIC 16FXXX,16CXXX.

Where I can free download it's circuit diagram,software.
If anyone have this project,plz upload its.

hi zawminoo,

i use the JDM programmer which programs alot of pics including, popular ones life 16f84,16f628,16f877 etc. check the link for the schematic.

PS. software that i use is IcProg and WinPic, i prefer winpic but it;s up to you, there are more.

Search this forum for EPIC programmer. It works flawlessly.

JDM works too, but it gets power from the serial port and not all serial ports may supply enough volatge and it can be tricky to get it to work.

Hi!
Download winpin800 from perso.wanadoo.es/siscobf it is the best software i have come across. I have also used winpicprog and icprog but this one gave me the best results.
Use pic16pro hardware with this software(search the forum/google for it).

I've downloaded almost all the free software for my Pic16Pro programmer - but none list as 'supported' the 18Fxxxx chips that I'd like to use. Only the EPIC software lists support for the chips. Check to make sure the software supports the chips you plan to use.
Have to build my own EPIC programmer and give it a try - found schematics elsewhere on this forum.
