Non Linear Equation Solution

I need a closed form solution to the following equation:
~
[1 + A/(X^2)] = [(1 + B/(X^2)]^C
Where A, B, C are constants, X is the unknown. If anyone has the solution, I'd like to see the derivation.

I like your solution steve10. I never took Galois theory at University, so you just saved me several hours of agonizing algebra as I tried to solve this equation too...
