Help!! In system programming for P89LPC922 using Flash Magic

Hi ...

I m using P89LPC922 controller for my application ... however i m not aware of the method to program the HEX file in the chip using Flash Magic .....

I have gone through the User Manual for this controller ... but am now even more confused ....

Can any one help please ..???

Without changing any switches or jumpers:
DTR and RTS need to be connected to VDD and /RST of the device. Currently Flash Magic only supports this feature with the Keil MCB 900 board, however custom hardware will be supported at a later date.

So, if you haven't foreseen this problem and haven't allow for additional 5-pin connector and a set of jumpers/switches, you are really in trouble ..

To program it you need to control Vdd by DTR, RST by RTS and connect Rx-Tx and Tx-Rx pins. Of course you can not connect microcontroller pins directly to the COM port, but you need a RS-232 driver IC ..
Then you will have to check the option to “Use DTR and RTS to enter ISP mode” and select correct P89C922 from the drop down list, select your HEX file and .. START ..
