what is microwave cavity? define it for me.
the definition is simple but not ristricted to one or two different form.
microwave cavity in the simplest definition is a closed volume which allow waves to resonate in it , the whole energy in a lossless microwave cavity is constant so the wave resonate in it for ever and ever. this cavity could be a simple rectangular closed surface which is made of a good conductor metal such as alumina or copper. or could be only a solid dielectric sphere with high permeativity.

Let's assume a filter performed in cavity technology... i would like to know what might determine Spurious...

Thanks in advance.

Hello Lupin;
What's your application? What's your frequency band?
Please explain about cavity filter?

I wnat to know only if an RF signal input of a Cavity filter (I am looking for more information but in vain at the moment) can be corrupted by the filter itself in terms of spurious....

It's a general concern..in principle, what do u think?

Thanks in advance.
