Difference of size and length in Matlab

What is the difference between size and length in Matlab? I've checked the help but i dont understand..
 

Size returns the dimensions. Length returns the largest dimension. This is what I understand from the HELP documentation. Seems quite clear.
 

Yes this i understand. But size returns dimensions...what dimensions?

Does it mean if i am using a vector i should use size and when using arrays i should use length?
