Hello,
I am searching for a low-cost GPS module. I want to connect it to some microcontroller. Can you recommend me such a module?

Re: GPS Modules

I think that PG-11 will do the job but on the https://www.laipac.com/ i can't find a datasheet for the module :(

Re: GPS Modules

hi CM600, I think laipac have the datasheet, ask laipac, I use GPS Module O&M ET102
is cheaper and too good, what information do you want about PG-11?

Re: GPS Modules

I think that i will need some schematics and guidelines how to connect it with the microcontroller, what is the pinout, the voltage levels etc.
I am new with the gps and i am trying to build one by myself.
What means 12 channel receiver? What are the channels for? And do i need to connect an antenna to the module?

Re: GPS Modules

The pin-out is in picture attachment, and 12 channel is number of satelites the GPS can receiver signal simultaneo, yes you need a antenna this is normalment active need VCC and have a magnet ima, is look like a mouse
