hi IanP. you are a hot heart person , you help me many times . may be this time you make some errs . I want to study ispgal22v10 not gal22v10,although they have some things in the same. plz tell me some things about ispgal22v10. I kown then have diffirence in the programmer method ,the ispgal22v10 can use ISP method ,isn't it.
ymq8328, do you want to design your own hardware and software that progams the ispgal22v10?
Back in 2001, I had to do that with one embedded system project. Here are my basic steps:
I used iseVM10 to convert my JEDEC file to an SVF file. I used SVF2VME to convert the SVF file to a VME file. I compiled a custom VME utility (based upon sample C source code from Lattice) and used it to send the VME file to my project's custom JTAG port. That successfully programmed the chip.
hi echo47:
yes ,I want to design my own hardware and software that progams the ispgal22v10. my problems are :1) I would better use which soft to produce JEDEC file ,is ABEL? 2) I can't get any infomation about
iseVM10 and SVF2VME, can you send them to me?
3) VME utility (based upon sample C source code from Lattice). what these means ? where can I find them ?
these are very important to me. thanks
I used Lattice development software (I forget it's name, maybe ispDesignExpert) to create the JEDEC file. I downloaded all that other stuff from Lattice in 2001. Now everything looks different. I'm afraid you will have to do what I did four years ago - contact Lattice and squeeze the new procedure out of them. That took me many days, many emails, and many downloads. No more Lattice parts in my designs!
