programmable power supply

hello everyone!
i m going to build a controllable power supply.its maximum output should be 150 V dc.can anybody help me with some suggestion, link or some circuit schematics?

In your project, what output current would you like to have?
And, have you thought about protection - after all this voltage combined with certain currents can be a killer ..

wheather it is with matrix keypad or only with up & down keypads.and also wanted to know about the maximum current you need the style of display such as dotmatrix or seven segment?
