spectre fft

sometimes I want to FFT analysize in Spectre.

but I don't know What should I do.

Is there anyone who explain me in detail? or teach me where I get tutorial document.

thanks

spectre dft

Hi 020170;
You can use calculator do dft analysis .
In calculator window, there is a menu called "Special Functions" ,click on it there will appear many useful functions, choose dft then specify required parameters,
you will get the wanted results.
For details,Pls use help.

fft cadence

I've been using Cadence for some time. From the tools available in calculator, they offer DFT but no FFT.

fourier transform in cadence

Could any one please tell me the difference between DFT and FFT

dft spectre

I think difference in algorithm.
DFT - discrete Fourier transform
FFT - fast Fourier transform

cadence fourier transform

so the results from the DFT is the same as that from the FFT(just difference in algorithm and speed)
