Got it from a sound system. 20210716_094416.jpg20210716_094424.jpg

The most useful project I made was putting a similar transformer in my homebrew power supply. Ordinary diode bridge, 4700 uF smoothing capacitor, variable voltage via 2N3055 transistor.

With light loads I get 16V maximum (from a 12.6V winding). And with the center tap I can switch to a bipolar split supply.

Make a mains voltage logger.
Use a micro say to measure the output voltage and work out the mains level.....log it for one month....make the microcontroller log only the highest value....so you can see if you get any mains swells over the month.

If you have an electric shower....see if the mains level drops when the shower is on .
--- Updated ---

Or make a mains transient detector/logger
Have a diode bridge coming off the primary side mains...and have a 100nF 1kV capacitor downstream of it...Constantly log the voltage of a divider off it so you can see if this capcaitor ever got charged up to 450V say. Voltage clamp the divider so it doesnt overvoltage your ADC input.
Beware of mains voltages! They can kill. Do not touch when ON
Have a neon light on the AC so you can see if its on...and even if its off, check it really is off!!

Use the transformer LV output to power your micro etc

In theory, there should be at least one mains transient per month.

Turn your 10kW electric shower (if you have one) ON and OFF, and see if the switching transient causes a mains voltage transient.

Hi,

Does it really make sense to upload 7Megabytes of photo instead of writing 40 bytes of datasheet information.

Mind: The forum is worldwide with many areas of low internet speed.
