i want to design 16 bit sigma delta ADC.can i do it with switch cap sigma delta using "boser wooley" paper from JSSC paper.
moreover what is the adv/disadv of using continuous time sigma deta over switch cap sigma delta.

CT compared to SD:

advantages
- with a clever design it is possible to eliminate external anti-aliasing filter
- perhaps less power consumption (again, with a careful design)

disadvantages
- more sensitive to jitter
- more sensitive to process variations - special design techniques might be needed for calibration
