RF remote control

Hai
I would like to do a RF based remote control using microcontrollers.

I am looking for the RF circuitary. Please guide me with a transmitter and receiver circuit with a reasonable range . Proposes to do IR like coding. the receiver should give a high or low when tx is enabled. Hope my purpose is clear!

thanks

RF remote control

Try Chipcon. I made a similar unit with their CC1000 board.

Re: RF remote control

Hai
thanks for the response.Actually I was looking for some home made transmitter and receiver circuits. But when considering the complexity associated with getting a rf link getting aligned ,is this commercial transceiver pair a good option?. What is the possible range of these boards? and what is the cost?

Re: RF remote control

Hi

Most of the low power transmitter's are up to 30 m in build space and up to 100 m in open space due to regulation {google for PART15 + FCC for more detail } .

All the best
