Hi,

Is there any single IC which contain both the 3.3 to 5 V and 5 to 3.3 V converter. Even some two channels each for both the cases?

If available pls share me the part number..

Why don't you use MAX3488?

...there is no isolator....

But if the A,B,X,Y of Max3488 is connected with another device 5V Max488, then will it not be problem?

Shall i connect Two devices like this?? one device is having 5V operating Max 488 and another one is having 3.3 V operating Max3488.

Will it have any issues on doing it so?
 

Hi,

RS485, RS422 are standards. Every device must meet the specifications independent of it's supply voltage.

If you want detailed information, then reading the datasheets is a good idea:
MAX3488:
* -7V to +12V Common-Mode Input Voltage Range
* Driver Output Voltage (A, B, Y, Z)..........................-7.5V to 12.5V (independent of Vcc)
* Receiver Input Voltage (A, B) ................................-7.5V to 12.5V (independent of Vcc)
