suggest ideas to modify my design (broadband antenna)

I am doing project on the paper I have attached below.would any one suggest some ideas to modify the design for my proposed method

the paper which i have sent is the reference paper.keeping this antenna as reference antenna i have to bring better some better results by making changes either in the geomentry of the antenna or by some other means.To overcome the drawbacks of this antenna
