Hi,
I am in the process of designing a quadrifilar helical antenna for the 70 cm band. I am using an old program called Antenna Model, which is good in many regards although falls short from my desire in two specific ways.
1) it fails to take into account distributed capacitance.
2) I would like to simulate the receive frequency response of the antenna. That is subject the antenna to a enviromental EM wave or stimulation and then measure the output at the terminals across a load.
I am familar with CST and HFSS and from my my own research it seems like only HFSS will do both of these things.
So, would anybody be able to point me in the proper direction as to how to set up HFSS to do this?
Best regards,
Fred B.
