I have a Pic16f628a does anyone have a pure sine wave inverter design with a hex I could build with pcb also something like 500 watts or more.

a pure sine wave inverter ...

I have heard this so often but I still do not know how pure is pure. What are the uses or applications of "a pure sine wave" power supply...

I thought you would be the one to answer me about that, but pure sine wave is what you get from the power company in your country its very clean and can operate any appliance, modified sine wave isnt as clean so most sensitive electronics wont operate from it, and square wave would be used on inductive loads like motors and lights.

well to be honest i reckon code to do class d amplifier is what you want, (you might get some off the diyaudio site) because that is the same sort of thing, yes, i believe at 500w and above smps's are pfc'd with active pfc so a pure sine wave is needed to be supplied to them....well.....pretty pure...i mean, the input LC filter of the pfc stage will take the edges off a not-so-pure sine wave.

seems no one uses the chip I have for inverters, well I would still work with any design for a pure sinewave if I cant get one with that chip.
