Hello folks,

I am wondering if there is a comercial part which is able to invert a square signal from 0 to 24V. The most of the comercial buffers and Line drivers that I found dont support 24V of power supply.

I have trying to do it with an Op Amp configured in inverting mode but it is not working.

PS: The maximum frequency of the square signal is 9KHz.

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

EP.

An OP amp set up as an comparator ought to work - provided the OP amp output can swing to the rails. You might be able to get away with using a bjt configured as a common emitter amplifier.

By "invert" do you mean change the phase by 180°?
If so, just use a transistor common-emitter inverter stage.

Most half-decent opamps have maximium supply voltages of 36V and 44V so 24V is no problem. They work well up to at least 100kHz.
A 741 opamp was designed 47 years ago and has trouble above 9kHz.

Unstated parameters include:
- output current / load impedance
- amplitude fidelity and how close to supply rails

A power MOSFET driver (at least some of them)
could be a simple way to smack a low impedance
load around. Unlikely to have a 0-24V input (some
may, but TTL-ish is the norm) but a resistor divider
at the input could fix that. Many types have
inverting inputs.

yessss

a BJT configured like common emitter is exactly the solution that i need!

Thanks everybody!!!
