I want to add 0.18um cmos in AWR. But I can't find any library or parameters. How can I add any Cmos process in AWR ? Please help :-?

Just add model parameters for 180nm from TSMC. Import it to AWR via netlist. Then draw a subcircuit and set an appropriate symbol for your transistor.

You can get the Spice model parameters here: http://gram.eng.uci.edu/faculty/green/public/courses/270c/homework/models/tsmc_180nm.txt

Hi cannibol_90,

I have a similar problem as eses23. I have the HSPICE netlist for TSMC's 28nm pdk. It contains the BSIM4 (v4.5) models for all of the nmos and pmos devices plus everything else in the kit. It's over 330,000 lines long, hundreds of librarys, subcircuits, models, and thousands of equations and variable references. When I try to import it into AWR, it cannot parse. Even if I pull out a single nmos model, I get errors everywhere. No one at AWR can help...and AWR does not have NDA's setup with TSMC or Global foundries.

I'm trying to design a switched capacitor PA using either IBM's 45nmSOI or TSMC 28nm in AWR. I do not have Cadence myself, but obtained the netlist from another source.

Any ideas?

I followed the AWR manual for importing the netlists to AWR. You have to add additional commands so that AWR can parse the model parameters. https://awrcorp.com/download/faq/english/docs/Users_Guide/importing_netlists.html

Try importing the TSMC 180nm model parameters with the .subckt command shown below. It worked for me. I have added flicker noise parameters too. Not the original one from foundry, but has been added to simulate phase noise.
