Hi there,
Is it possible to develop an EAT application for the SIM808 the same way as for SIM908, SIM928 or SIM800H?
Anybody knows if a IDE or compiler setup exists with header files for SISM808?
I can find a setup for SIM800H, does anybody have an idea if this can be used for SIM808 as well?

Hi,

I have the same question. Does anyone know if sim808 has Embedded AT programming enabled? I have a product with sim908 and I really need to migrate to sim808. But this current product (sim908) has many implementations using EAT. If it's not enabled I'll need to add a microprocessor to the project.

Please, any

Please anyone?

Hello,

I recently started developing embedded applications with the SIM808. I noticed there is not a lot of information about Embedded AT (EAT) and looks like the manuals and tools I found are not official or not released. Anyway, I found everything we need for EAT on the SIM808 here: https://microchip.ua/simcom/?link=/SIM800x

Inside the folder "EAT" you can find all the manuals and tools. I noticed that there is a folder giving the instructions for Eclipse but I haven't tried them yet. Until now, I was able to compile demos and I tested succesfully some of them like sending a SMS. Since the EAT doesn't need AT commands, all the demos are programmed to test them by the both the UART and USB (Debug) ports. Among the files, you can find the "Catcher" which is the debugger tool for the SIM.

Let me know if you need help!
